Cooper’s practice is motivated by recontextualization, and the presence of absence. Much of his work is characterized by the interplay of unpredictability and restraint and its effects, which promotes a process of proposition and effacement to generate aesthetic forms. He is the founder and publisher of Another Fine Mess and co-founder of Society6.
