Justin Cooper is a contemporary visual artist based in Los Angeles.

His studio practice occupies the intersection of sculpture, collage, and conceptual art, recontextualzing images and objects to interogate questions surrounding taste, class, sexuality, consumerism and the urgency of the modern world. Through an interdisciplinary studio approach, Cooper challenges systems of value and visual language, employnig material juxtaposition and cultural references to provoke critical dialogue. His work engages the complexities of contemporary American identity, articulated through a restrained, post-minimal aesthetic grounded in conceptual rigor and formal reduction.

Beyond his studio practice, as the founder of Another Fine Mess and co-founder of Society6, Cooper has played a significant role in shaping the contemporary landscape of creative commerce. His work—including acclaimed pieces such as The Promise of Cathedrals and Not Yet Titled (Flag)—continues to examine cultural symbolism, authorship, and the shifting relationship between art, commerce, and identity.
